24th April 2007 - Parking for Boat Tours
Due to construction work on Donegall Quay at the Lagan Lookout car-parking facilities there are no longer available.
A small car park (space for approximately 20 cars) has been made available exclusively for the boat tours on Queen's Quay.
Unauthorised users may return to find themselves locked in or clamped!
This car park is adjacent to the small row of temporary buildings on the quayside immediately beside where the foot bridge across the weir touches down on Queen’s Quay. (On the left as you drive towards the Odyssey)
It is separated from the main road by black metal bollards… one of the bollards is lowered to allow access to the carpark.
N.B. As you turn onto Queen’s Quay from the Queen Elizabeth 2nd Bridge, this entrance is immediately after (and slightly obscured by) the 3rd lamp-post on the left…Proceed slowly!! If you go too far past this entrance you will find yourself back in the one-way system and will have to drive right round the system again!
It is still possible for coaches and mini-buses to drop passengers off at the Lagan Lookout for boarding but they must park on the other side of the River.
