22nd June 2009 - Tall Ships Atlantic Challange 2009 Belfast
From the 13th – 16th August a fleet of over 20 proud sailing ships of all nationalities will moor here; stars of the seas, square, aft and fore rigged; schooners, barques and brigs. Mingle with their maritime magnificence on the Lagan Boat Company’s special tours. When Belfast last hosted the Challenge in 1991, over 400,000 visitors came to the Lagan; this year’s prestigious event promises to be even more popular. Enjoy the comfort of our tours; hear the history, see 5,000 tons of unique sailing ships, feel the winds of time.
