HMS CarolineBerthed in Alexandra Dock, HMS Caroline is the last British World War 1 Cruiser still afloat. She served in the Battle of Jutland (1916)and currently serves as a training facility for the Royal Naval Reserve. |

Lagan weir at nightThe Weir is the key to the regeneration of the River. It impounds the water level upstream making the river navigable 24 hours a day. It also protects against storm tides and dispenses with the malodorous mudbanks previously exposed at low tide. |
